Although written by Tears for Fears, I based my version on the Michael Andrews & Gary Jules performance from 2001’s Donnie Darko. His daughter’s voice is awesome, and he must be overjoyed to be playing music with her. I was the first patient they’d seen all day. I was the only person at the testing facility, and the nurses seemed excited. I was able to get a test very easily, and they notified me within two days.Īlong the way, my doctor, and my physician friends assured me it was unlikely that I was positive. However, having those symptoms in the middle of a pandemic was disconcerting.
I’ll save you the suspense, I’m COVID-19 negative. As it would turn out, I got sick the first week of April fever, body-aches, and chills.
